Breathwork

"Breath is the gift of life, the connection between body and mind. It helps us to connect with the moment, and when we are mindful of it, it brings us back to the present, where life unfolds.”  Thich Nhat Hanh

Somatic or trauma release breathwork is based around a concept that’s called “conscious connected breathing”, intentionally altering our breathing patterns.  Easy to say but not always easy to practice alone!  This somatic breathing practice fosters a deeper connection between the mind and bodily sensations, empowering individuals to engage with their somatic intelligence to facilitate healing and personal development.

Why Practice Breathwork?
Psychosomatic Tensions
When our basic humans needs of love, understanding, safety, security and self-direction are not met, we suffer with grief, fear, shame, sadness and anger.

Most people have no idea this is playing in the background of their lives. That these emotions are actually related to traumas stored in their body tissues that are screaming to be released.

Recognising and  addressing these tensions is crucial for holistic healing and bringing balance back to our system, especially in today's society!
Burnout, depression, chronic fatigue, hyper-sensitivity, anxiety, neurodivergence and much more . . .
Self regulation should be taught in schools right from the beginning!  Most parents don’t even know what self regulation is!

In today's society, we are triggered left, right and center.  With world traumas, daily fear of loosing our job, society disorder, family dysfunctions (just to name a few) it is inevitable that our system would eventually crash or be so depleted we are unable to function correctly.

Learning how to self regulate and balance our system is vital to our survival.

What can you gain from practicing this form of breathwork?
Breathwork allows us to intentionally alter our breathing patterns which initiates transformations on a physical, psychological, and physiological level enabling neuro plasticity to enhance our well being through the following ways:

Emotional release resulting in emotional healing and increase in energy, spontaneous insight, understanding of self and others making it easier to be in relation with others, celebration of self, clarity, break through and break down of distorted behaviours, relief from anxiety once and for all!  The list goes on. . .
Testimonial - Self Love and Forgiveness Somatic Breath Practice with Kamy
Do I recommend Kamy and her offerings? Hell YES!! It is transformative, IF you are ready to listen, take action, and receive the value she delivers.

Today’s session was, although uncomfortable for my body at times, the portal I’ve been needing all my adult life to address these factors without my Mind interfering in the release and acceptance process.

Kamy guided me in using my breath to bypass my Monkey Mind, which allowed me to release on a subconscious level, and I feel a liberation, a setting free from my past that I didn’t know possible. It has been a week since the session. The pains are still there but I trust that it’s all still ok. I notice little things changing.

My sense of safety in my body and in the world has amplified, my insights clearer, my desires for ME are sweeter and my focus sharper on Self love, on falling in love with my Self, on being, to my Self, the pleasurable partnership I yearn for, and on deepening my Self acceptance and enoughness.

This session with Kamy helped me strengthen my resolve to be Self-ish this year, to be fully committed to my wellness, pleasure, growth, and freedom. I take more deep breaths, naturally, through my day thanks to this breath practice. I have hope and look forward to more sessions with Kamy as there is an ‘unfolding’ taking place, not a quick fix hack.

Background: I’ve flowed 30 years of personal growth journeying, a lot of that being intellectual, ‘in my head’ knowing and understanding.  This ‘knowing’ has served me well and created huge change for the better in my life.  I’ve now reached the point where it is time to release permanently the emotions I still have ‘trapped’ in my physical body with the intention that many of the pains and dis-ease I experience as a 52 year old woman easefully resolving over time.

The Path:  To achieve this I’ve experimented with various embodiment practices, and today I allowed myself to experience one of Kamy’s somatic breath practices as part of that experimentation and curiosity.  I trust Kamy 100%.  Her experience, knowledge, and intuitive practice feed into her gift at holding space that allowed me to feel safe through the entire session, and to trust in the process so I could release on a much deeper level.

The Results: I live with pain in my back, shoulders, and right hip, with persistent bloating, a continued sense of ‘holding’ in my muscles, and the residues of sexual trauma, abuse, humiliation, not enoughness, and unworthiness residing in my tissues.

With so gratitude- Claire
