Kundalini Yoga
What the heck is Kundalini Yoga? (Besides Being the Most Misunderstood Yoga)
Let me tell you it is not some of the crazy shit I’ve seen on the internet! Granted, Kundalini Yoga is not your average yoga class either. It’s an energetic and powerful form of yoga that you really need to experience for yourself to truly understand it.
My Personal Journey with Kundalini Yoga
When I first came across Kundalini Yoga, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. You hear all these scary things about it, and honestly, most of it doesn’t make sense until you actually feel it yourself. What I discovered is that Kundalini Yoga is known for its repetitive movement patterns, intense breathwork, and active meditations. The energy that moves through you during practice is unlike anything I had experienced before. It’s all about channeling and redirecting energy, and that’s the magic of it.

One of the key elements of Kundalini Yoga is something called a kriya. Think of it like a “recipe” of specific yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditations, all designed to create a specific outcome. Some kriyas are for physical things, like improving digestion or boosting your immune system, and others work on a more subtle level, like opening your heart or sharpening your intuition. Here’s what a kriya usually includes:
How Kundalini Yoga Changed My Life
Now, I didn’t just start teaching Kundalini Yoga out of nowhere. For me, this practice literally saved my life. I was in a really tough place, recovering from a nervous breakdown (or not recovering). I had spent 1.5 years trying to get back on my feet, and nothing was working until I found Kundalini Yoga. Within just three weeks of practicing every day, EVERYTHING changed. I started to feel alive again—like, really alive. I had energy, I had strength, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like I could take care of myself again. It was honestly like I had flipped a switch. And it didn’t stop there. The more I practiced, the better things got—my energy kept building, my mind felt clearer, and I found this deep sense of happiness that I didn’t even know was possible. That’s why I’m here today, sharing this practice with you. Kundalini Yoga didn’t just help me recover—it awakened me to a whole new level of vitality, joy and optimal health. And now, I get to help others experience that same transformation.

Something to Consider:
Kundalini Yoga can be as euphoric as it can be overwhelming. The practice of Kundalini Yoga is intended to bring about profound transformation, healing, and expanded consciousness. And believe me, this is exactly what it has done for me and continues to do for me. It’s important to approach the practice with respect, patience, and guidance from an experienced teacher, as the energy can stir things up. And we got things to stir up, look at the world we live in!
